Before joining a virtual conference, you will be asked for entering your e-mail and names.
Instructions for speakersPlease enter the virtual room before its scheduled start. Please note that the Central European Time is used in the programme.
All sessions will be moderated by the chair who will be responsible for introducing the speakers, monitoring the timing, and managing the Q&A.
There will also be technical support present in the room catering for the technicalities (settings, letting people in, microphone and camera management, spotlighting the speakers, etc.). You contact them via "Chat" (private conversation with the Host) during broadcasting, or via SMS/WhatsApp/iMessage (00420 737 357 159).
In the sessions, the speakers will be promoted to the "panellist" role, which enables them to speak to the audience and share their presentations.
Please use the "Share screen" function to display your presentation to the audience – click on the "Share screen" button on the Zoom control panel and select the file/window on your computer you would like to share via Zoom.
Please keep the time limit of your presentation:
Keynote lectures: 40+10 min. discussion
Oral presentation: 10+5 min. discussion
Poster: 3+2 min. discussion
Q&A will follow after each presentation. Questions sent via the Q&A function will be sorted and read by the chairs. The chairs will also call on the attendees using the "Raise hand" function to ask their questions directly.
Please use headphones to avoid echoes.
Connection and presentation TESTWe ask you to make a test your connection, cam & mic in the test room at https://zoom.us/test
In case of problems with the test, do not hesitate to contact us via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please do a system requirements check here: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362023-System-requirements-for-Windows-macOS-and-Linux
The above test is a rapid self-test. We would like to ask you to perform a test with our technician, where will be simulated an identical interface as for the conference. The test should not take more than 5 minutes.
The conference Zoom room will be open for test on
- Wednesday, 10. 11. 2021, from 9:00 to 11:00 (CET)
Q&AQ&A will follow after each presentation. If you wish to ask a question, you can do it in two ways:
- in writing via the Q&A (Webinar) or Chat (Meetings) functions available in the Zoom control panel
- using the "raise hand" function for direct questions to the speakers (again, you will find it on the control panel); if the chair calls you on, please unmute your microphone and ask the question.
